Points

The Points layer provides the linkage between the attribute tables of UKMap (i.e. Addresses, Heights and Points Of Interest) and the polygons of the Base and Overlay layers.

Every geographic feature in the database, i.e. every polygon and point in the Base and Overlay, has a point attribute associated with it.

There is also a point for all non-physical features such as street names and place names.
